Pâtisserie Mélanie
The French Experience
Chef Melanie Dunn offers a unique retail experience inspired by the simple beauty of Nordic design and the artistry of classic French pastries. The Chef trained in Paris where she received the Diplôme de Pâtisserie from Le Cordon Bleu. She strives to be an ambassador for French pastry and joie de vivre. Parisian chefs, patisseries, and boulangeries continually inspire and guide her culinary creations.
Each item on the Pâtisserie Mélanie menu is handmade in very small batches in the chef’s home kitchen located above the boutique. Macarons are piped by hand. Yeasted dough and butter are “turned” by hand to create lots of lovely layers before being hand cut and rolled into croissants. And seasonal fruit is preserved five jars at a time! This respect for the ingredients and French methods produces a one-of-a-kind culinary experience for customers.

Pâtisserie Mélanie
A Ten Year Journey
